MSc thesis
If you are interested in writing your MSc thesis with the CBE Arctic team, get in touch with Mari H. Eilertsen. Read about the team to see previous masters topics. Currently we have several topics available on the diversity, distribution and habitat selectivity of animals in deep-sea chemosynthesis-based ecosystems.
We can offer training in modern taxonomic approaches using a combination of morphology and DNA sequencing to characterize biodiversity. If you do a thesis with us you can contribute to uncovering new species and understanding their distribution and how they have adapted to the extreme habitats of the deep ocean.
